* An arm of sculk, resembling the twisted warden’s arm, can be seen in the YouTube Short version of the reveal trailer.<ref>{{ytl|7Wzp7cUDtTg|MINECRAFT DUNGEONS II <nowiki>|</nowiki> Announce Trailer|Minecraft @ 0:06|March 21, 2026|t=6s}}</ref>
* There is a "(very) tiny Halo reference" that [[Minecraft:Marc Watson]] put in text that's "not on something players would normally have access to."<ref>{{Bsky|marc-irl.bsky.social|3mw4oado6b22m|100 internet points to the person who calls out the (very) tiny Halo reference I put in Dungeons II text. It’s not on something players would normally have access to.

* In the {{MCD2|Minecraft Dungeons II – Announce Trailer|reveal trailer}}, at 0:13, a QR code can be seen. Scanning it leads to a [[Minecraft:Minecraft.net]] page titled "0x7370696365776f6f64" which contains the trailer "TJG KIF RDE LSRD".<ref>{{citation|url=https://minecraft.net/0x7370696365776f6f64|title=0x7370696365776f6f64|section=|website=[[Minecraft:Minecraft.net]]|author=|archive-url=http://web.archive.org/web/0/https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/0x7370696365776f6f64}}</ref> The string "7370696365776f6f64" translates to "spicewood" when decoded from hexadecimal, and the title "TJG KIF RDE LSRD" translates to "UNL OCK{{sic}} THE PATH" using a {{w|keyword cipher}} with "spicewood" as the keyword.
* [[Minecraft:Mojang]] had an internal launch party on September 23, 2026, where they played the 12 minute demos from [[Minecraft:gamescom 2026]]. The winners were "4 designers with 7:54 remaining."<ref>{{Bsky|marc-irl.bsky.social|3mw7xcmem222l|Dungeons II launch party tonight. They had the Gamescom demo going, where you play from entering the Deep Dark to beating the Twisted Warden. 12 minute demo, my team beat it with 3 minutes left. The winners? 4 designers with 7:54 remaining. 😮 <br>Anyone want to try to beat that in a few days? 😁|date=September 24, 2026|userlink=[[Minecraft:Marc Watson]]}}</ref>
* Minecraft’s social media page released another teaser of a warden singing. In it, the portal has [[Minecraft:Dungeons:Illageralt|Illageralt]] written in it, which translates to "JUNE 7".
*Starting on September 24th, 2026, the [[Minecraft:title screen]] [[Minecraft:panorama]] on [[Minecraft:Bedrock Edition]] was changed to an ancient city, promoting the release of the game.
* In the Minecraft Dungeons II page in the [[Minecraft:Minecraft Launcher]], if someone plays the 8 [[Minecraft:Note Block|note blocks]] in the order from the social media teasers (1, 3, 7, 6, 5, 2, 4, 8), the Portal activates and a countdown for June 7, 2026, at 17:00 UTC appears, and clicking, or using the number keys, a note block five times in quick succession (within 745 ms to be exact) causes Illageralt symbols that when decoded (from left to right) correspond to 1, 7, N, E, C, 3, F, and D.
** When arranged in the order the note blocks need to be played in, the letters spell out "1NF3C7ED", which translates to "INFECTED" in leetspeak.
** In addition, when reversing the first three and last three notes of the activation sequence (7, 3, 1 and 8, 4, 2), note blocks 1 and 2 emit soul particles, respectively.
** If an incorrect note is played after the first 6 (1, 3, 7, 6, 5, 2) or 7 (1, 3, 7, 6, 5, 2, 4) correct notes, a faint sound similar to that of the mob in "TJG KIF RDE LSRD" can be heard in the distance; the sound plays the next correct note in the sequence (4 and 8, respectively).
** Playing the notes in this order (6, 5, 2, 7, 8) causes the unlisted video titled "BGUQJ MTVU VKORZY" to play in the launcher.

=== Errors ===
* The [[Minecraft:rabbit]] at the start of the trailer uses pre-[[Minecraft:Tiny Takeover]] textures, even though the baby villagers use Tiny Takeover textures (with slight modifications).
* In the video, the counters of {{MCD|Luxury Merchant|luxury merchant}} and {{MCD|Village Merchant|village merchant}} were switched. Instead of luxury merchant, there was village merchant, and instead of village merchant, there was enchantsmith.
** At the beginning of the video, a second village merchant can also be seen.
