- The DLC was teased in a pop-up prompting the player to get the Superman skin pack, which released on July 8, 2025.
- Throughout the DLC, many subtle references to regular Template:MC are made.
- Surrounding the Daily Planet globe are carvings of Minecraft:creepers.
- Banners throughout Metropolis appear to show Minecraft:chickens.
- The shot of Superman standing in front of the sun is a reference to the cover of the first issue of Superman volume 5, which became a popular internet meme.
