Template:UnobtainableTemplate:Removed feature Template:Infobox biome The birch forest hills biome is a hills variant of the Minecraft:birch forest that no longer generates since Minecraft:Caves & Cliffs: Part II, and was removed in Java Edition.
Description
Old
Like all hills biomes, the birch forest hills featured hillier terrain than regular birch forests, being identical to them in every other aspect. It was fairly common due to its wide spread.
Current
Template:IN, birch forest hills in older worlds still received updates. When generated through Minecraft:single biome or Minecraft:behavior packs, they can also generate new blocks.
They appear similarly to the old birch forest hills. Unlike regular birch forests, Minecraft:wildflowers do not generate here, although Minecraft:bushes do.
Mobs
Birch forest hills use the same mob spawning chances as birch forests.
