Minecraft:MINECON Live 2019

Template:Infobox video thumb|Official logo MINECON Live 2019 was a livestream that took place on September 28, 2019, at 16:00 UTC.<ref>Template:Mcnet</ref> It featured Masuo (MasuoTV), Mariel (Marielitai Gaming), Shelby Graces (Shubble), and Scott (Dangthatsalongname) as the co-hosts of the show.<ref>Template:Mcnet</ref> It was the last annual event to use the name Minecraft:MINECON, as the 2020 event and all subsequent events have used the name Minecraft:Minecraft Live.

Announcement

On May 17, 2019, it was announced that MINECON Live 2019 will be streaming live on September 28.<ref name=LiveAnnounce>Template:Mcnet</ref>

Biome Vote

During the livestream, viewers could vote for one of three Minecraft:biomes that will be updated. The biome with the highest vote will get new features, such as terrain changes and new Minecraft:mobs, in the next major update. The winner, Mountains, got snowier snow, goats, and new mountain terrain generation.<ref>Template:Ytl</ref> The Swamp was later added to Minecraft:The Wild Update, and the Badlands will also be getting new features, but at a later date.<ref>Template:Tweet</ref> Mountains were voted as the first biome to be updated.<ref name="final_poll">Template:Tweet</ref>

Badlands

Tumbleweeds, Minecraft:vultures, and a new type of Minecraft:cactus akin to a Template:W are planned to be added.<ref name="first">Template:Tweet</ref> Badlands was voted as the last biome to be updated in the first poll.

Swamp

Boats with chests, Minecraft:frogs, and Minecraft:mangroves were planned to be added.<ref>Template:Tweet</ref> Swamp was voted as the second biome to be updated in the second poll, which later became a part of Minecraft:The Wild Update.

Mountains

Minecraft:Powder snow, Minecraft:goats, improved mountain terrain generation, and more mountain biomes were planned to be added. Mountains were voted as the first biome to be updated in the final poll,<ref name="final_poll" /> which later became a part of the Minecraft:Caves & Cliffs update.
