Minecraft:Third Drop 2026: Difference between revisions

The third drop of 2026 is an upcoming, currently unnamed, Minecraft:game drop that will release in the third quarter of 2026. It focuses on the Minecraft:dappled forest biome, adding poplar trees with three different colors of Minecraft:leaves and its related blocks, Minecraft:wool stairs and slabs, and a new Minecraft:abandoned camp structure. It was announced at Minecraft:Minecraft Live – May 2026.

A mushroom variant found on the sides of log blocks.
Comes in at least two sizes.

World generation

Biomes

An autumn-themed forest biome that consists of Minecraft:poplar trees, Minecraft:red shrubs, Minecraft:leaf litter, Minecraft:brown mushrooms, and Minecraft:shelf mushrooms.
- Fallen poplar logs generate more frequently than other logs.
Cold variants of farm Minecraft:animals, Minecraft:rabbits, and Minecraft:foxes spawn here.
May sparsely generate Minecraft:spruce trees.

Features

A tree that generates in dappled forests.
Features three different colors of leaves, orange, red, and yellow and randomly spawns with them.
Fallen poplar trees have shelf mushrooms on them.

Structures

A structure that generates on the surface of the Overworld.
It consists of Minecraft:wool stairs of any color, Minecraft:fences and various other blocks.
Its appearance and structure can be varied, such as having Minecraft:leaves and Minecraft:cobwebs, a single Minecraft:tree or a crop farm.

A bed variant that lets players sleep but doesn't set their respawn point.
Currently it can be crafted using 3 Minecraft:hay bales.
Can be stacked to 16.
Can only be used once and breaks after being slept.
