*Odin is regarded as the paramount deity in Norse mythology, often referred to as the "All-Father" and the sovereign of Asgard. He embodies a multifaceted nature, linked to themes of warfare, knowledge, sorcery, literature, and mortality, frequently portrayed as a one-eyed, robed traveler. Odin presides over Valhalla, where he collects the valiant warriors (Einherjar) in preparation for the ultimate confrontation of Ragnarök.<ref>[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Odin Wikipedia Odin]</ref>

The Odin is the first recognised class of the [[StarCitizen::Category:Battlecruisers|battlecruiser]] category and is built by StarCitizen:Anvil Aerospace. Every space aboard this innovative warship is focused on one goal: achieving total battlefield dominance by combining exceptional firepower, a rich naval heritage, strategic command, and remarkable durability. It is designed to destroy carriers, decimate fleets, and breach fortified ships; aiming not only for victory but also to reshape the future of warfare.<ref name="OdinConcept">Template:Cite RSI</ref>

As a battlecruiser, the Odin draws on the armament expected of a StarCitizen:battleship while still being constructed with a frame closer to that of a StarCitizen:cruiser; emphasising power, speed and reach over its defense. It is also capable of launching and retrieving a substantial flight of small and medium craft from its hangars.<ref name="OdinStore">Template:Cite RSI</ref><ref name="DefeConShow-Odin">Template:Cite RSI</ref>
