Obtaining

Template:IN, the cauldron in a Minecraft:swamp hut has a 10% chance of containing a potion of Slowness.

Usage

Effect

Slowness reduces movement speed. Movement includes Minecraft:walking, Minecraft:sprinting, Minecraft:sneaking, Minecraft:crawling, and Minecraft:swimming. If the a player or mob is Minecraft:riding another mob, Slowness only reduces the speed of the ridden mob if that mob has the effect. The speed of the rider does not matter.
