Smooth stone bricks could be used as a construction material much like regular stone bricks.
Silverfish
Minecraft:Silverfish have the ability to enter and hide in smooth stone bricks, creating an Minecraft:infested block of stone as a result.
Note blocks
Smooth stone bricks could be placed under Minecraft:note blocks to produce "bass drum" sounds.
