Template:Stub Waxing is a gameplay mechanic that allows the Minecraft:player to lock the current state of Minecraft:copper blocks and Minecraft:signs.
Behavior
Copper blocks prone to Minecraft:oxidation as well as Minecraft:signs and Minecraft:hanging signs can be waxed by Template:Ctrl Minecraft:honeycomb on them. A particle is emitted when a block is waxed.
Copper
Template:See also Waxed Minecraft:copper can have the wax scraped off by Template:Ctrl any Minecraft:axe on it. Waxed copper will not further oxidize and will not deoxidize when struck by Minecraft:lightning. Copper can also be waxed by crafting, combining Minecraft:honeycomb with a non-waxed copper block.
Wax cannot be scraped when the player is also holding a shield.<ref>Template:Bug</ref> When wax is scraped off of copper, it has a unique particle.Template:Only
The following blocks and entity made out of copper can be waxed.
Signs
Unlike copper blocks, waxed Minecraft:signs and Minecraft:hanging signs cannot be unwaxed by Template:Ctrl an Minecraft:axe. Waxed signs cannot be edited or have Minecraft:dyes, Minecraft:ink sacs, or Minecraft:glow ink sacs Template:Ctrld on them. The only way for a sign to be unwaxed is by Minecraft:breaking and re-placing it.
