Minecraft:Third Drop 2026

The third game drop of 2026 is an upcoming, currently unnamed Minecraft:game drop that will release in the third quarter of 2026. It focuses on the Minecraft:dappled forest biome, adding poplar trees with three different colors of Minecraft:leaves and a new wood type, Minecraft:wool stairs and slabs, and a new structure, the Minecraft:abandoned camp. It was announced at Minecraft:Minecraft Live – May 2026.

Some features of this drop will be released earlier as an Minecraft:experiment in Minecraft:Bedrock Edition 26.40.

Biomes

• An autumn-themed forest biome which can be found near cold biomes that consists of Minecraft:poplar trees, Minecraft:red shrubs, Minecraft:leaf litter, Minecraft:brown mushrooms, Minecraft:shelf mushrooms, and sparsed Minecraft:spruce trees.
  • Fallen poplar trees generate more frequently than other trees.
• Cold variants of Minecraft:farm animals, Minecraft:rabbits and Minecraft:foxes spawn here.

• A structure that generates on the surface of the Overworld.
• The tent consist mainly of Minecraft:white wool stairs and Minecraft:fences.
• Its appearance and structure can be varied depending on the biome, such as a stone shelter, having Minecraft:leaves or Minecraft:cobwebs, a Minecraft:tree, a pond, or a Minecraft:crop farm.

Unconfirmed features

Minecraft:Straw bed

• A bed variant that lets players sleep but doesn't set their respawn point.
• Can be crafted using 3 Minecraft:hay bales.<Subject to change></Subject to change>
• Can be stacked to 16.
• Can only be used once and breaks after being slept in.
