This Item a bugged item added to the game accidentally. This was made due to developers seeing the scarab staff as a weapon in game however, it is not actually a usable staff in combat. When redeeming the scarab you will be told you have unlocked the schematic for the scarab staff, however, you will receive nothing in your journal!
