The original Aegis Avenger was a multi-role carrier-based fighter designed and manufactured by StarCitizen:Aegis Dynamics for the StarCitizen:United Empire of Earth military. Launching in the mid-28th century StarCitizen:SEY the Avenger became a leading member of carrier operations across the squadrons of the StarCitizen:Navy. These glory days lasted until the mid-29th century following the development of more focused interceptors and space-superiority fighters.<ref name=":0">Template:Cite RSI</ref><ref>Template:Cite RSI</ref>
The Avenger's service to the empire did not end there, as while its time as the Navy's standard carrier fighter had come to an end the StarCitizen:United Empire of Earth Advocacy found great use in it as a patrol ship, until the next century later - the mid-30th - when the Avenger was again phased out in favour of newer designs such as the M50 Interceptor.<ref name=":0" /><ref name=":1">Template:Cite RSI</ref>
In the 30th Century, the Avenger soldiers on and has spawned several variants, two of which remain in use by the Navy - a two-seater Trainer<ref name=":1" /> and the EMP-equipped Warlock, which also serves in the Advocacy.<ref>Template:Cite RSI</ref> The Warlock, along with two more variants - the prisoner-taking Stalker and the cargo-carrying Titan - are available on civilian markets.
