Minecraft:Builder Cape

Template:Infobox cape The Builder Cape is a Minecraft:cape that was given out as a promotion for TwitchCon 2026 and the Minecraft Movie Build Challenge.

Appearance

The cape's design depicts an Minecraft:iron pickaxe laying on a Minecraft:crafting table background. Apart from the pickaxe's orientation, it has the same design as the Minecraft:Crafter Cape.

Distribution

Players can receive this cape by redeeming a code, which can be obtained by participating on one of these two platforms:

• Watch any livestream on Minecraft:Twitch for 5 minutes.
• Watch any livestream on Minecraft:TikTok for 3 minutes.

This can be done between May 30 and June 14 (later June 22nd), 2026. All codes for this cape must be redeemed by June 30, 2026.<ref name="build-challenge">Template:Mcnet</ref>

Trivia

• The cape's design resembles the teaser poster for Template:AMCS.
• Aside from the cape's name, further connections to the build challenge include the fact that the cape was also featured in the build challenge's key art, and that the cape's distribution method was revealed in the article that introduced the build challenge.<ref name="build-challenge"/> However, participation in the challenge was not actually required to obtain the cape.
• After Minecraft Live, various players had trouble claiming the cape through Twitch due to technical reasons.<ref>Template:Discord</ref>
• Despite saying that the cape code must be redeemed by June 30th, already existing cape codes can still be redeemed.
