This core is a part of the nightmare, refined and reforged over and over again, then condescended into a singularity and sealed within dragonkin technology. It is a mote of potential, waiting to be released. | This core is a part of the nightmare, refined and reforged over and over again, then condescended into a singularity and sealed within dragonkin technology. [[Dragonwilds:Avisk]] was only able to use it to improve his existing equipment, as well as to empower the beasts he trapped in the nightmare dreamscape. Fortunately, limited as it might be, you should find this technology particularly useful, as it will allow you upgrade and improve some of your more unique equipment, such as masterwork gear. | ||

Template:Multi Infobox Ascension Cores are items used and crafted in the Dragonwilds:Mystic Forge to ascend masterwork weapons from their base power level to the next tier. They are made by combining Ascension Shards or collecting them as a reward for completing instances of Nightmare Crucibles in Dragonwilds:Umbral Sands. For most cores, players can gain core shards by killing mini-bosses (such as Red Dragons, Green Dragons and Blue Dragons).
The only core that cannot be crafted, thus far, is the Power Level 7 ascension core which can only be acquired through completing the Nightmare Crucibles.
