Template:External An instance is a special area, usually found in Dragonwilds:quests, where player(s) can enter to complete a task, defeat a Dragonwilds:boss, or perform other special activities. These instanced areas are a one-time event where progress can reset if not completed. For example, if the player does not defeat the Dragonwilds:Black Knight Titan at the top of his castle, his health will regenerate, and players will have to try to defeat him again.
Note that players that drop items on the ground in these instanced areas will lose them upon entering the instanced area again.
Examples of non-instanced areas are Dragonwilds:dragonkin vaults, where players can drop their items and pick them back up upon returning to the vault.
Examples of instanced areas
