12w15a is the first Minecraft:snapshot for Minecraft:Java Edition 1.3.1, released on April 12, 2012.<ref>Template:Cite</ref>

General

Stackable items now stack outside Minecraft:inventory when thrown to the ground individually.

Template:Control a minecart with furnace in Minecraft:Creative mode acts as if the player gave it Minecraft:coal.

Controls

The appropriate Minecraft:spawn egg is now given when Template:Control a Minecraft:mob while in Creative mode.
Template:Key+clicking can now be used to equip Minecraft:armor.
Template:Key+clicking can now be used to put items in Minecraft:enchantment tables.
Template:Key+clicking can now be used to put items in Minecraft:brewing stands. However, it does not work with the third potion slot yet.

The Minecraft:player no longer falls off the edge of a Minecraft:block if they stop sneaking too soon after reaching the edge.
