Mount
The Magic Carpet is the second mount unlocked during the game's progression, following the Terrorbird. It is obtained by completing a specific portion of Dragonwilds:Icthlarin's Little Helper, the primary quest line for the Dragonwilds:Umbral Sands region.
Attributes
- Allows hovering over hazards such as quicksand and water.
- Offers increased jump height, especially when leaping from cliffs and obstacles.
- Significantly increases velocity compared to base movement and other mounts while in the desert.
- Movement speed is reduced outside of the desert.
- Provides a massive reduction in fall damage.
- Riding a Magic Carpet over quicksand also refills stamina while riding over it.
- Following a quicksand path will allow you to ride at maximum speed the entire route.
