Dragonwilds:Draconic Staff

Template:Infobox Item The draconic staff is a Dragonwilds:power level 4 Dragonwilds:staff that can be crafted at a Dragonwilds:mystic forge. The recipe is unlocked after studying the Dragonwilds:parts of a sinister-looking staff, which can be found in a chest on the western wall outside of Dragonwilds:Skeklac Kara, the Dragonwilds:dragonkin vault in Dragonwilds:Ashien's Watch. It can be ascended at the mystic forge using Dragonwilds:ascension cores.

Its Dragonwilds:special effect is +15% Dragonwilds:critical strike chance which equates to an average 1.0375x damage increase, but it also has -15% Dragonwilds:durability. Unlike the Dragonwilds:dragonbone dagger, this weapon does have reduced durability compared to the Dragonwilds:blightwood battlestaff (its comparable weapon) which has 1300 to this weapon's 1100.

However, when compared to the Dragonwilds:staff of light and Dragonwilds:necromancer's staff at equivalent Dragonwilds:power levels, it always has a 0.4 - 0.5 lower rune damage multiplier. In order for the increased chance to crit to have a higher average damage increase, the rune multipliers would need to increase to higher than 12 while maintaining the 0.4 - 0.5 difference (in other words, this staff would need a rune multiplier of 12.3 and +15% critical strike chance to have the same average damage as the necromancer staff if it had a rune multiplier of 12.8).
