The World options menu

The World Options is a Minecraft:menu screen which is accessible in the Minecraft:game menu.

Description

The World Options allow the player to change many settings related to the world like Minecraft:game rules and world's difficulty. This is visible only when in a Minecraft:world.

It can also be used to change world's default game mode and options related to multiplayer.Template:Upcoming

General

Setting Description Default
Default Game ModeTemplate:NoteTemplate:NoteTemplate:Upcoming Set the default Minecraft:game mode of the world. Varies on the game mode set on the current Minecraft:world; defaults to Survival on the Minecraft:Create New World screen.
Personal Game ModeTemplate:NoteTemplate:NoteTemplate:Upcoming Set the game mode of the player.
Game ModeTemplate:NoteTemplate:NoteTemplate:Until Set the game mode of the player. Also sets the default game mode of the world.
Allow CommandsTemplate:NoteTemplate:Note Set whether commands are enabled in the world. Varies on whether commands are allowed in the current Minecraft:world; defaults to OFF on the Minecraft:Create New World screen.
DifficultyTemplate:Note Set the Minecraft:difficulty level from the choice of Peaceful, Easy, Normal, and Hard. If the padlock is clicked and confirmed, the difficulty on that world cannot be changed without Minecraft:commands. (Note that the difficulty cannot be changed if playing Minecraft:Hardcore mode. On a server, difficulty can be changed only by commands or editing the Minecraft:server.properties file.) Varies on difficulty set on current Minecraft:world or Minecraft:server; defaults to Normal on the Minecraft:Create New World screen.
