Towering over the oasis, the yew tree might seem a strange addition to the desert sands, yet it has a deep-rooted place in the lore of the region.
Unfortunately, the trees are very secretive and delight in upsetting lorehounds, so they won’t share what that secret is.
Just another excuse to cut them down, really.

Template:External Template:Infobox Resource Node Yew trees are Dragonwilds:Woodcutting Dragonwilds:resource nodes and a type of Dragonwilds:tree found in Dragonwilds:Umbral Sands, which require a Dragonwilds:adamant logging axe (or better) to cut.
Fully chopping a yew tree gives 220 experience, excluding the stump. The tool used to cut the tree can slightly affect the XP given.
Yew trees will regrow from stumps (or seeds through the Dragonwilds:Farming skill) after 3 in-game days (72 hours) after the tree has been felled. Cutting the stump will prevent the tree from growing again.
