Beta 1.0_01 is a second version of Minecraft:Java Edition Beta released on December 20, 2010,<ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y5ZFRdEXc8M</ref><ref>Template:Twon</ref> to fix some of the bugs and crashes in Beta 1.0.

3 bugs fixed

Fixed Minecraft:double chest bug where the player could not select the items in the bottom two rows of the inventory.
Fixed rare crash on level load bug.
Fixed the lighting bug from the Minecraft:chunks that are far away from the player during nighttime.

1 bug reported

1.0_01 uses an inconsistent Minecraft:version format to its surrounding versions. It was succeeded by Minecraft:Beta 1.0.2, not "1.0.1", implying this version was retroactively relabeled "1.0.1" instead of "1.0_01".
