3.40.19 is an update to the Minecraft:Minecraft Launcher released on September 15, 2026, and retracted from the release channel on September 16, 2026.
Additions
- New loading videos for the Minecraft:Wilderness Bound game drop.
- Added an animation of Minecraft:Steve and Minecraft:Alex sitting on a Minecraft:cushion to the home tab.
- A "Use Java argument files" toggle is now available for Template:JE installations.
Changes
- Redesigned the Realms tab for Template:JE and Template:BE.
- Updated localization strings.
Fixes
- Fixed an issue where the launcher could display a black screen or stop rendering after waking the computer from sleep or changing display settings on Windows.
