Minecraft:Crafter Cape

Template:Infobox cape The Crafter Cape is a Minecraft:cape that could be obtained by players who attended the Minecraft:TwitchCon Rotterdam 2026 event in person. It was less accessible than its counterpart, the Minecraft:Builder Cape, which was given out as a reward for watching Minecraft streams online instead.

Appearance

The cape's design depicts an Minecraft:iron pickaxe lying on a Minecraft:crafting table background. Apart from the pickaxe's orientation, it has the same design as the Builder Cape.

Distribution

This cape could be obtained at the in-person TwitchCon 2026 event in Template:W, which took place on May 30–31, 2026.<ref>Template:Cite</ref><ref>Template:Tweet</ref>

Guests received an inventory ribbon that could be attached to their TwitchCon badge during badge pickup. They then had to participate in either Minecraft content sessions or arena activities to receive Minecraft:emerald stickers. Once guests had collected three emerald stickers, they could take the inventory ribbon to the Cape Trader booth to receive a code card. This code could be redeemed to obtain the cape.<ref>Template:Mcnet</ref>

Various content creators invited to TwitchCon to playtest new features were given additional codes that were given away to their viewers.<ref>Template:Cite</ref><ref>Template:Cite</ref>

Trivia

• This is the first cape to be exclusive to a convention since the MINECON 2016 Cape.
• The cape's design resembles the teaser poster for Template:AMCS.
• Although the redemption period was stated to end on June 30, 2026, this deadline has not been enforced, and codes can still be redeemed.<ref>https://x.com/jeffpees/status/2072449617321759173</ref> This is consistent with the fact that Mojang has typically not enforced their stated cape code redemption deadlines.<ref>https://x.com/silentwisperer_/status/2072377595950157853</ref>
