Biography

Salimena was the studios first dedicated concept artist<ref>Template:Cite</ref> and was promoted to Senior Game Artist in April 2022,<ref name="linkedin"/> with Template:MCL being the first game she worked on.<ref>Template:Cite while reposting Template:Cite</ref> According to her, the conceptual art of Minecraft:Caves & Cliffs was inspired by the episode Diamonds and Lemons from Minecraft:Adventure Time, the cartoon TV show.<ref>https://twitter.com/cookiecat_9/status/1312675314267566080</ref> Besides Caves & Cliffs, Salimena registered several drawings and schematics for Minecraft:The Wild Update. She was also noted to have done a lot of early concept art for Template:MCD.<ref>Template:Bsky</ref>

In October 2024, Salimena left Mojang to do art for Template:W before doing freelance. In September 2026, Salimena joined Minecraft:King as a full time artist where she worked on Template:MCB.<ref name="linkedin"/>
