Template:Multi Infobox Ascension shard is a basic Dragonwilds:item used to craft Dragonwilds:ascension cores, which are in turn used to upgrade masterwork weapons into stronger forms.
There is currently no use for Power Level 7 shards, as cores earned directly from completing the Dragonwilds:Nightmare Crucible.

- During the release of Dragonwilds:Umbral Sands, players could obtain the Ascension Shard 7 from Dragonwilds:Lava Fields reward packs, which was not a intended reward, as the Dragonwilds:Ascension Core would be obtainable through the Dragonwilds:Nightmare Crucible
- However, even after the 1.0 release, the shard are still rewards of the agility course.
