Journal

The following text is transcribed from the Journal.

Prized for its lightweight and nimble nature, Linen Armour finds favour among apprentice wizards and those who value agility. Composed of layered cloth, it forms a rudimentary defence capable of withstanding minor assaults.

This simple armour would remain popular with apprentice wizards long into the Dragonwilds:Third Age, falling out of fashion only when faced with something more dangerous than a goblin.

The beastmen further north of Dragonwilds:Brynmoor used weapons far more vicious than a goblin might wield. They tore through Linen Armour as if it were nothing, and the diminished enchantments of the acolytes did nothing to shield the blows.

Apprentice wizards died in droves, and the armour fell out of favour.
