Journal

The following text is transcribed from the Journal.

It is unsurprising that irit grows in Fellhollow, considering it has such a close association with the dead. Whereas normal irit grows around graveyards and near the temples of death deities, the irit in Fellhollow grows everywhere.

Yet, unlike its leafier version, the irit here is twisted and sharp. It is formed of thorny roots that writhe out of the ground and must be cut down to access the herb beneath. After all, the dead in Fellhollow refuse to stay buried without a fight, why wouldn’t the irit react the same?
