Journal
Kuldra would put a stop to that mindset in the end, but it was the Children of Shadows who forged the first steel gear in Fellhollow. One member, in particular, Sadia Vulketra, began to feel that the order lacked the strength it may one day need to defend against the Saradominist forces.
There was no war. No conflict like that in Emberwood, indeed the four major faiths got along rather well with one another. Yet, the history books told Sadia exactly what the priests of Saradomin would do to the worshippers of the god of chaos.
She forged a helmet first, with the assistance of one of her many lovers, a blacksmith Amalgamated called Vesk. The first helmet was styled with great curling horns, stained black by the forge's flames.
Naturally, this style didn't prove popular with the rest of the village, as they began crafting steel helmets of their own. They favoured a more simplistic approach and a feathered plume, to look fancy.
