Template:Redirect Template:Infobox item A firework star is a Minecraft:crafting ingredient used to create explosive Minecraft:firework rockets, which deal damage based on the number of stars added. Firework stars can be crafted using various combinations of Minecraft:dyes and other Minecraft:items, which affect the appearance, colors and visual effects of the resulting explosions.
Obtaining
In Minecraft:Survival mode, firework stars are obtainable only through crafting. In Minecraft:Creative mode, the generic versionTemplate:Only or all 16 color variantsTemplate:Only can be found in the Creative inventory.
Crafting
Additionally, Template:In only, a single unit of Minecraft:bone meal, Minecraft:lapis lazuli, Minecraft:cocoa beans, or Minecraft:ink sacs can be used to set the base color of a firework star. They cannot be mixed with any other ingredient (whether color or effect ingredients), nor used to add a "fade to color" effect. Template:Crafting
