Template:Infobox item A nautilus shell is an Minecraft:item rarely dropped by killed Minecraft:nautiluses, or always dropped by Minecraft:drowned that hold them, as well as being able to be fished out of Minecraft:water. Nautilus shells, along with Minecraft:hearts of the sea, are required to craft Minecraft:conduits.

Obtaining

Mob loot

Minecraft:Nautiluses have a 5% chance to drop a nautilus shell when killed by a Minecraft:player or tamed Minecraft:wolf. This chance can be increased by up to 8% with Minecraft:Looting III.

Minecraft:Drowned have a 3%Template:Only or 8%Template:Only chance to spawn with a nautilus shell in their off-hand, and they always drop that nautilus shell upon Minecraft:death. Template:IN, this also includes zombies converted into drowned.

Template:IN, Minecraft:wandering traders have a chance of 8.5% (increased by 1% per level of Minecraft:Looting) to drop 1 nautilus shell when killed while showing the item as trade offer, if the player holds an Minecraft:emerald.

Fishing

Template:Main Nautilus shells are obtainable through fishing, with a 0.8% chance per attempt. See Minecraft:fishing for more details.

Trading

Minecraft:Wandering traders may sell 1 nautilus shell for 5 Minecraft:emeralds. Template:Trade sources

Usage
