Potato stems can be broken using any tool, but an Minecraft:axe is the fastest. Additionally, Minecraft:swords speed up the breaking time.

Potato stems generate naturally as part of Minecraft:potato trees, as well as in Minecraft:potato villages and Minecraft:potato mineshafts.
