Template:Infobox block A stripped log or stripped stem is a variant of the Minecraft:log and stem, obtained by Template:Control an Minecraft:axe on a log or a stem respectively. Once stripped, it cannot be reversed.
Obtaining
Breaking
Stripped logs and stems can be broken by hand, but using an Minecraft:axe speeds up the process. Stripped logs and stems drop themselves when broken with any tool. Template:Breaking row
Natural generation
Structures
- Stripped oak logs can generate in Minecraft:plains Minecraft:villages.
- Stripped spruce logs can generate in Minecraft:snowy plains Minecraft:villages.
- Stripped acacia logs can generate as part of houses in Minecraft:savanna Minecraft:villages.
- Mixed
- Stripped oak, spruce, jungle, and dark oak logs can generate as masts in Minecraft:shipwrecks.Template:Only
Post-generation
Template:Control an Minecraft:axe on a Minecraft:log or stem turns it into a stripped log or a stripped stem, which act the same as regular logs.

Stripped logs (but not stripped stems) can be used as Minecraft:fuel in Minecraft:furnaces, smelting 1.5 items per block.
Cocoa beans
Minecraft:Cocoa beans can be placed on the side of stripped jungle logs to grow a new cocoa pod.
Note blocks
Stripped logs and stems can be placed under Minecraft:note blocks to produce "bass" sounds.
Sulfur cube
Template:In developmentSulfur cubes have the ability to absorb stripped logs, either through picking it up or being interacted with it. This provides the rubber ball/bouncy effect to the mob when hitting it.
