Community events held by StarCitizen:Cloud Imperium allow players within the StarCitizen:Star Citizen community to participate in various activities. Prizes may be awarded, which may be both in-game and physical items. Contests are announced in This Week in Star Citizen comm-links and in Spectrum General forum.

StarCitizen:The Next Great Starship<ref></ref>	2014-06-08	Grand prize	Creating ultra-detailed spaceships is the heart of Star Citizen’s development. From concept to final texturing, a ship can take teams of expert designers months to create the level of graphical fidelity and detail that have become hallmarks of the Star Citizen universe.
