He grew up in a small town where nothing ever really happened, which led him to movies, plays, books as a way to escape.<ref name=":0" />
As a kid, his parents let him believe that the Jurassic Park movie was real, until they bought him The Making Of Jurassic Park, at which point he realized people did that for a living and he decided that's what he wanted to do.<ref name=":0" />
