Delivered in two bursts with Alpha 3.3 and Alpha 3.5, Planet Tech v3, known at the time as Procedural Cities built upon the features of StarCitizen:Planet Tech v2 by adding the tools to create large-scale cities for placement on planets. It was used to create the initial version of the walled city of StarCitizen:Lorville on the planet StarCitizen:Hurston in Alpha 3.3, with its train system - as well as the planet-spanning city-scape of StarCitizen:ArcCorp in Alpha 3.5, including the landing zone and outskirts of StarCitizen:Area18 with its shuttle service and NPC traffic. Distinct biomes exist on ArcCorp for City, Residential and Industrial areas. Outside of cities, while most features remained the same as v2 until overhauled by v4, one other notable inclusion was that of oceans as seen on Hurston. POIs were now also able to penetrate below the surface terain as used with the StarCitizen:Hurston Dynamics bunkers.
