He hunted silently, using the daggers to slay small prey such as rabbits and chickens. He ate what he needed and sold the excess at the markets for enough coin to purchase simple clothes and tools.
When he was thirteen, he was beaten by bandits and left for dead. But a Dragonwilds:Wild Knight found him and brought him to safety. Recovering in the knight’s home, Ulv would be taught how to use a bow, a skill he soon mastered.
When a wolf attacked Dragonwilds:Bramblemead, this outcast slew it. Villagers thanked him for his bravery and asked him what he wanted as a reward. He refused their offers and asked only for the wolf’s skull in return. He fashioned it into a mask that he chose as a new face, one he wore away from the village that had spurned him.
