Nautiluses have a 5% chance to drop a nautilus shell when killed by a player or tamed Minecraft:wolf. This chance can be increased by up to 8% with Looting III.
Drowned have a 3%Template:Only or 8%Template:Only chance to spawn with a nautilus shell in their off-hand, and they always drop that nautilus shell upon death. in Template:Editions, this also includes zombies converted into drowned.
