Bundles of Bravery is a Minecraft:game drop released on October 22, 2024, as Minecraft:Java Edition 1.21.2 and Minecraft:Bedrock Edition 1.21.40. It adds Minecraft:bundles to the game. It also adds Minecraft:Hardcore mode to Template:BE and makes it available to Minecraft:Realms on Template:JE.

The game drop was announced at Minecraft:Minecraft Live 2024, though the name was accidentally revealed on Minecraft:Minecraft.net as part of a summary of the event posted a few days before it happened.<ref>Template:Citation</ref>

Minecraft:Banner patterns

• Two new banner patterns have been added Template:In to achieve parity with Template:BE:
  • Template:InvSprite Minecraft:Field masoned banner pattern
  • Template:InvSprite Minecraft:Bordure indented banner pattern

Template:InvSpriteTemplate:Animate Minecraft:Bundle

• Crafted from a string and a piece of leather.
• File:Bundle Open JE2 BE2.png Can hold a mixed stack of items at a time.

• Can be dyed into 16 colors.
• The specific item to be removed from a bundle can be selected using the scroll wheel.
• Moved from experimental status to full release after an extensive development period (2020-2024), completing the implementation of all content that had been postponed from Minecraft:Caves & Cliffs.

Game modes

• A variant of Minecraft:Survival mode in which the world is locked to Minecraft:Hard difficulty.
• Minecraft:Players cannot respawn after dying, but can continue to observe the world in Minecraft:Spectator mode.
• Fully featured world creation screen available to create Hardcore Realms.

• Each banner pattern item now includes their pattern in their name instead of as a subtitle.

Minecraft:Smithing templates

• Are now named after their template type instead of the generic "Smithing template" name.
  • They instead specify that they are a smithing template through a subtitle in the hover text.

Mobs

Minecraft:Dolphin, Minecraft:glow squid and Minecraft:squid in Template:JE

• Now have baby variants, matching Template:BE.

Minecraft:Salmon in Template:JE

• Now have large and small variants, matching Template:BE.

• 1.21.3 was released to fix critical bugs related to 1.21.2.

Bedrock Edition

• 1.21.41 was released to fix bugs related to 1.21.40.
• 1.21.42 was released to fix bugs related to 1.21.41.
• 1.21.43 was released to fix bugs related to 1.21.42.
• 1.21.44 was released to fix bugs related to 1.21.43.
