Template:For Template:Education feature Template:Infobox block The lab table is a Minecraft:chemistry table used to make items and blocks from Minecraft:compounds (there are currently only five).
Obtaining
Lab tables can be obtained from the Minecraft:Creative inventory. They cannot be obtained in Minecraft:Survival without Minecraft:commands. Template:IN, the world must also have the "Education Edition" setting enabled.
Breaking
A lab table can be mined with any tool, but Minecraft:pickaxes are faster.
Usage
Template:Control the lab table opens a 1×9 grid, where Minecraft:elements and Minecraft:compounds can be inserted to perform experiments. The locations of the items in the grid do not affect the outcome. When ready to conduct an experiment, clicking the Template:Btn button initiates the process.
If the result is a viable product, the top images animate to indicate whether a liquid, gas, or solid has been produced. Shortly after, the menu closes, and the successful product appears on the table. If the combined materials did not create a viable product, the process results in a garbage item and one of few randomly selected animationsTemplate:More info. Template:IN, the block above the table is replaced by fire when a specific animation creating a garbage item is made.

Trivia
- Even when two compounds that do not react when combined in real life (like water and salt, or multiple items of the same compound), when they are combined in the lab table, the fire and/or explosion effect still appears, creating a garbage item.
