Template:Future content Template:Multi Infobox Ascension Cores are items used and crafted in the Dragonwilds:Mystic Forge to ascend masterwork weapons from their base power level to the next tier. They are made by combining Ascension Shards or collecting them as a reward for completing instances of Nightmare Crucibles in Dragonwilds:Umbral Sands.

As of 0.12, these cores are not yet available. Players can gain core shards by killing mini-bosses (such as Red Dragons, Green Dragons and Blue Dragons).
