A red shrub is a non-solid Minecraft:plant block found in Minecraft:dappled forests. Red shrubs are not biome tinted like most other plants, keeping their red color regardless of the biome they are placed in.
Obtaining
Breaking
A red shrub can be broken instantly with any item or by hand, dropping itself.
A red shrub also breaks and drops itself if Minecraft:water runs over its location, but gets destroyed without dropping anything if Minecraft:lava runs over it. If a Minecraft:piston extends or pushes a block into its location, or if the block under the plant is moved or destroyed.
Placing any block on a red shrub replaces the shrub without dropping anything.
