The StarCitizen:Behring "CQ7" is a close-quarters ballistic bullpup rifle that is currently in production for Alpha 4.9.

Trivia

• The CQ7 is the first bullpup rifle in Star Citizen. A bullpup weapon is one in which the magazine and bolt are located behind the trigger.

Development

The original concept was designed in 2015<ref>Behring CQB Concept by Edon Guraziu on ArtStation</ref> with a low quality model being found in the game files. In 2026 StarCitizen:Zac Preece teased that a "Bullpup" was currently in development<ref>Star Citizen Live: Q&A FPS Gameplay</ref>. On June 17 2026, the Behring "CQ7" Bullpup Rifle was added to the Alpha 4.9 release card.<ref>Template:Cite RSI</ref>
