+Avisk weighed the staff in his hands. The Kobalios he had killed lay on the ground beside him, deflating into a pool of anima. Like a waterskin purged of its contents, he thought.
+The Kobalio's staff fascinated him greatly. He knew that he was standing here, holding it, in this chamber of the Wellspring. But he couldn't shake the sensation that he was somewhere else, too. There was two of him, somehow; one here, and one not here.
