Minecraft:Hero Cape

The Hero Cape is an upcoming Minecraft:cape that originated from Template:MCD. It will be given to players who log into both Minecraft Dungeons and Template:MCD2 before December 31, 2026.

Appearance

The cape depicts a golden Template:MCD face on a red cloth background. The bottom of the cape is also lined with gold.

The current in-game design is shifted up a pixel from the rendered version from the announcement article. The gold pattern in the in-game version is two pixels tall (as opposed to one in the render), while the top row of pixels depicted on the render is absent from the in-game version. This appears to be unintentional, with Minecraft:Marc Watson saying he's "looking into it".<ref>Template:Bsky in response to Template:Bsky</ref>

Distribution

Players can automatically receive this cape by logging into Template:MCD and then into Template:MCD2 before December 31, 2026.

Owning the original cape in Minecraft Dungeons is not required to receive it in Template:MC.<ref>Template:Mcnet</ref>
