Carpentry Overview
Carpentry is the skill of wood working, it is used to craft chairs, some weapons, and food accessories.
If you plan on gathering wood yourself, you'll need to buy a Handsaw from a vendor such as Therese in Serbule town. Alternatively, players of a high level may encounter a Cutting Blade Necklace, an amulet slot item that also works as a handsaw.
Note: Under no circumstances can any regular animal beast-form gather wood from regular tree-falls, not even with the Cutting Blade Necklace. Birds can, but only if they are humanoid under the Druid illusion. For animals, the only options are to use alternate humanoid characters to gather wood, buy it from players, break it down from Treant Wood loot, or barter with Gretchen Salas. Alternatively, you might find it in NPC Used Item tabs or you can try posting player work orders.
