"Thanks for asking. Personally, I think the term 'half-human' is fine. I don't take offense to 'halfie' either, though maybe it's just because I'm used to it. I don't like 'half-breed,' though. It makes me sound like a dog. And 'half-orc' is used as a slur, so... don't. And all the terms with 'green' in the name are slurs: greenskin, greeny, halfgreen, greenback, all of them.

"My mother was traveling through Povus and got raped by an orc warlord that lives here. That's how I was conceived. After that, she hated this city. But at least the rakkies didn't care what I look like. I even had some friends here, before they were murdered. Murdered by my father's goons, I might add.

"My mom spent her savings on an elven glamour that made me look like a human. Managed to get through school in Statehelm that way, but eventually people found out. And it was even worse because I'd been hiding it.
So mom brought us back here, the very place she was raped. She was never the same after that. But I learned to love it here. I could be myself and the rakkies didn't care at all.
"Well for one thing, I inherited incredible anger issues. And my hair is utterly unmanageable. Oh, and I want to kill all humans... but that's just because of how they treat me.
