Were we always so cruel? So callous and so shortsighted that we turn on our own just because they’re a little bit strange? So Jenna has seaweed for hair and eyes of literal sapphire. Isn’t that something to love about her, rather than hate?

The Weathered Diary in Dragonwilds:Fellhollow is to the right of Dragonwilds:Postie Pete near a shattered barrel past Dragonwilds:Death's Domain.

Journal

The following text is transcribed from the Journal.
It is a strange thing to leave one’s home. All those old comforts, those familiar sights, smells and memories, just left behind. Stranger still, is leaving because you just don’t recognise it anymore.

Were we always so cruel? So callous and so shortsighted that we turn on our own just because they’re a little bit strange? So Jenna has seaweed for hair and eyes of literal sapphire. Isn’t that something to love about her, rather than hate?

Home is changed now. Those familiar sights are stained in horrid crimson. Those sentimental scents are tainted with a worrying touch of iron. Memories incinerated by rising flames, burning hope just as old neighbours burn away the homes of everyone different.

So we leave. We go north. Past the garou who snarl even though we have a treaty, and then down into the deep dark of the earth in search of a new home. One we pray will stand longer than the last.

A home we can be proud of.
