v0.1.1 alpha is the first version of Minecraft:Pocket Edition released for all Android devices, on October 7, 2011.<ref name=":0">Template:Link</ref>

Internal version
The internal version of v0.1.1 alpha is 0.1.1(1015) and has a size of 1.56 MB.
If the player hasn't purchased Minecraft from the Google Play Store, the game crashes. This is not present in the "J" version.
Demo
A free "lite" demo of v0.1.1 alpha was released on Google Play on an unknown release date. In mid-2014, it was removed from the Play/App stores. The internal version is the same as the official release.
J-version
