Template:Infobox block Wood or hyphae is a Minecraft:block that has the Minecraft:log's "bark" texture on all six sides. It comes in 11 types: oak, spruce, birch, jungle, acacia, dark oak, mangrove, cherry, crimson, warped, and pale oak.
Obtaining
Breaking
Wood and hyphae can be broken by hand, but using an Minecraft:axe is the fastest. Script error: No such module "breaking row".
Natural generation
Acacia wood can generate in savanna villages.
Spruce wood can generate in snowy taiga and taiga villages.
Mangrove wood can generate in some entrance rooms of trial chambers.
Crafting
Wood or hyphae can be crafted out of four matching logs or stems, yielding three wood or hyphae as a result. Template:Crafting
Usage
Wood and hyphae can be placed in three orientations, similarly to normal Minecraft:logs.
Crafting ingredient
Smelting ingredient
Fuel
Wood can be used as a fuel in Minecraft:furnaces, smelting 1.5 items per block.
Hyphae cannot be used as a fuel in furnaces.
Axes
{{#vardefine: control | right click on mouse or left trigger on gamepad }}Using an Minecraft:axe on wood or hyphae turns it into stripped wood or hyphae, which acts the same as regular wood or hyphae.
Cocoa beans
Cocoa beans can be placed on the side of jungle wood to grow new cocoa pods.
Note blocks
Wood and hyphae can be placed under note blocks to produce "bass" sounds.
Sulfur cube
Template:Message box Template:Article other Sulfur cubes have the ability to absorb wood, either through picking it up or being interacted with it. This provides the rubber ball/bouncy effect to the mob when hitting it.
