Security Increased Ahead of Invictus Fleet Week
Organizers turn to professional mercenaries as traffic increases in preparation of the military event.
The recent terrorist attacks in the Stanton system have put security forces on high alert for this year's StarCitizen:Invictus Launch Week celebration, and while it's certainly a good time to see amazing ships and shop for new gear, the current situation has presented an opportunity to take on extra work and make some serious StarCitizen:credits.
From patrolling flight lanes to defending civilian vessels in distress, we encourage all guild members to plan on working extra hours this month to support the StarCitizen:Navy's big day.
They also announced that StarCitizen:Lucas Baramsco—a decorated Navy veteran who's expanded into teaching pilots in the private sector—is offering a free Navy Patrol Training course, which we would highly recommend taking advantage of.
Whether you're a rookie pilot or a combat vet, there's surely something to be learnt from this pro.
Attacks From Frontier Fighters Remain a Serious Threat
Guild member sightings of the group spike, stoking fears of another attack.
Mercenary Guild officials are warning members to stay vigilant against attacks from the StarCitizen:Frontier Fighters. A significant spike in the group's activity, along with a verified sighting of their leader StarCitizen:Amelia Boyd, prompted the action, building concern among guild officials that another large scale strike might be in the works.
Staying Safe During the Regen Crisis
With imprints no longer reliable, a return to former safety protocols encouraged.
After last month's confirmation from StarCitizen:BiotiCorp that Regens are failing at an alarming rate, mortality has once again become a top concern for working mercenaries, according to Crosshair's polls. But staying safe doesn't have to be a challenge. We look at ten reader-submitted tips on how to survive high-risk contracts.
Guild Scavenger Hunt
To celebrate the Guild's ongoing support of the StarCitizen:UEE Navy, those attending this year's Invictus can search the halls to discover some carefully stashed scrip prizes.
Invictus Shopper's Guide
From powerful fighting ships, to the latest in weapons, turrets, and flight blades, our experts will help you pick which gear is worth grabbing from the show floor.

Amelia Boyd Spotted in Stanton
Guild members advised to be on the lookout for Boyd.
Multiple confirmed sightings of StarCitizen:Amelia Boyd in Stanton have some Mercenary Guild officials concerned. Boyd's movements coincide with increased activity by StarCitizen:Frontier Fighters in both Stanton and Pyro, leading to speculation that another attack may be imminent. This activity comes amidst rumors of internal fighting and poor recruitment by the Frontier Fighters. While some guild officials see this as a time to be cautious, others are arguing that now may be the ideal time to focus forces on the group to bring Boyd to Justice.
Halfway through her term, the Imperator makes the case for her vision for the future.
In anticipation of Citizen's Day, Imperator Addison shared a vid aimed at stirring civic pride and championing her agenda. She reflected upon previous accomplishments made when the people of the empire came together, advocated for more robust civil engagement, and argued for her proposed budget by saying "you become the society you fund."
The Great Day of the Vara Debate
We try to finally answer the question of which costume is the ultimate merc dress up?
We'd like guild members from across the Empire to tell us their go-to costume for this spooky time of year. Something fun? Something scary? A little of both? Answer the poll, submit your photos, and we'll feature the best dressed mercs in our next issue.
VOLT Recalls Prism Laser Shotgun
StarCitizen:VOLT recalled a small batch of Prism laser shotguns after discovering a manufacturing flaw that could result in the weapon overheating and exploding.
Protestors Disrupt StarCitizen:Battle of Idris IV Reenactment
Pro-StarCitizen:Tevarin rights group StarCitizen:Nerrivia Alle gathered to demand an end to the annual historical event.
July 2956
Xenothreat's on the Rise
Escort contracts spike due to an increase of attacks by known outlaw group, XenoThreat.
Though the anti-alien terrorist group StarCitizen:XenoThreat have been once again wreaking havoc for many, the chaos has greatly profited the merc industry.
For many businesses based around or working through the affected systems, these attacks have been catastrophic, but for those keener-eyed mercs, work has never been so abundant. From escorting cargo to protecting wealthy ships and their crews, companies across the stars are offering credits to anyone daring enough to take them.
However, to those looking to line their pockets, make no mistake—XenoThreat's return to action is just as high risk to most as it is a high reward for some.
Intersec's Expanding Role in the War
How one defense contractor could win the war against the Vanduul.
As the war with the StarCitizen:Vanduul rages, the need for skilled mercenaries to fight alongside the StarCitizen:UEE Navy has never been so prevalent.
If the recent fears of military spending cuts in the wake of the HuXa Treaty failing to be renewed prove true, then the growing reliance on organizations like StarCitizen:InterSec Defense Solutions and other mercenaries might save the empire.

Our expert fabricators have scoured the galaxy for tips on weapon development and curated a comprehensive list for the everyday warrior to build their own personalized artillery. With the right blueprints and materials, there are more options than ever before for finding your weapon of choice.
